This flat-roof wine country home had an expansive yard with a spectacular view of Sonoma Valley. Although the property had lovely, mature oak trees, the remaining landscaping needed updating. Its new owner desired an outdoor living environment that invited leisure and entertaining, while taking advantage of the hilltop location.
The Land Collaborative replaced the entire front and back yard, except for the native oak trees, resulting in landscaping that showcases this unique property and its view. We designed and constructed an outdoor kitchen and dining area with trellis, infinity deck, basking pool, firepits and water feature. Natural stone and native plants were used wherever possible to compliment the location. Landscape lighting hidden in crevices throughout the property provides the finishing touches.
